HARDWARE BLADE CLAUSE:

There is a hardware blade clause; meaning if we hit metal/hardware while cutting your logs, there is an additional charge:

$40 charge per incident on the LT70 blade

$120 charge if we hit metal with the WM1000 ( "High-Alloy") steel blade

$220 charge if we hit metal with the WM1000 (Carbide-Tip) blade

We strongly recommend that you scan your logs with a metal detector prior to cutting.

If we are trimming your logs to fit on the mill and hit metal with our chainsaw, then a chain damage fee may apply at the current rate of chain per length damaged.

**** Loading, unloading, trim rate and log handling time will be the same as the rate of milling on the respective sawmill.

KILN DRYING SERVICES

Slabs and Lumber are kiln dried to remove moisture so that your wood is more stable to work with for your projects. Before going into the kiln, the wood must be packed so that is receives air around the entire piece of wood. It is then dried at the rate of 1 inch of thickness per month.
